i think you did the right thing...i would have done the same thing if i was you.....we had to change are wedding date too...we also got some remarks but the way i see it it is my day and if they dont like it ohwell to bad

- We worked together and i thought he was weird. Then he asked me out and I laughed and told him not if he looked like that! So, the next day he showed up with a fresh hair cut n shave. He even went as far as to change his style of clothing from country hick to city chic.
He won my heart so I went out with him that night, the rest is history
- How did your fiancee propose to you
- He took me out on a canoe ride up a local creek, when we docked I saw the pathway was covered in rose petals as we walked I asked what was going on. At the end of the path there was a beautifully decorated archway covered in roses all the sudden our eldest daughter age 19 months came running out with a box in her hand followed by my parents, our baby girl and my siblings. He dropped on one knee, while my mom picked up the baby who was wearing a shirt that said "Mommy will you Please marry Daddy"
So between tears I said " HELL YEAH"
