How did you meet each other

We met at our church, Free Chapel OC in Irvine, CA. He needed piano lessons and I agreed to help him (he's still on page 1 to this day!). We started hanging out and one thing led to another and now we're the happiest couple alive and can't wait to be married!

How did your fiancee propose to you

My dad and sister came down to visit and we all went out to dinner with his whole family too. We went to the same restaurant where Derrick and I had our first date. We weren't going to be able to spend Christmas together, so Derrick said he wanted me to open my Christmas present then. It was a scrapbook with pictures of both us growing up and then dating. It read like a story and rhymed (of course). The last page would have rhymed with "will you marry me?" but instead there was a big question mark. I turned to look at him and he was on his knee in front of both our families with tears in his eyes, asking me to marry him. Of course I said yes!
